Product Description
Bonjela is a clear, almost colourless gel which provides effective relief from the pain, discomfort and inflammation caused by common mouth ulcers, cold sores, dentures and sore spots, as well as mouth ulcers and sore spots due to orthodontic devices.
It is formulated to help fight minor mouth infection and aid the healing process. Bonjela contains cetalkonium chloride, an antiseptic which helps to fight infections and choline salicylate, for relief from pain and inflammation.
How to use
Massage approximately one centimetre of gel onto the sore area. This can be repeated after 3 hours. Do not exceed the stated dose.
For denture sores: Do not apply directly onto the dentures. Leave at least 30 minutes before replacing the dentures in the mouth.
Always read the label RKT-M-07299
Ingredients
Active ingredients: Choline salicylate 8.714% and cetalkonium chloride 0.01%. Other ingredients: Ethanol (alcohol). See leaflet for further information.
Safety Warning
Do not give to children and adolescents under 16 years of age. This is because there is a possible association between salicylates and Reye's syndrome when given to children. Reye’s syndrome is a very rare disease which affects the brain and liver and can be fatal. Do not exceed the stated dose. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult your doctor (or dentist). Keep out of the sight and reach of children. Do not store above 25°C. Do not use after expiry date.
